Senior Linux System Administrator - Linux + cloud and knowledge of Networking

Senior Linux System Administrator required by a market-leading consultancy for an immediate start on a high-profile project.

Rate: Market rate

Fully remote working

Duration: 6 months B2B + extendable

  • 3rd Level administration experience
  • 6+ years Linux experience
  • 4+ years Cloud experience with any (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Linux System Administration
  • Scripting (eg, Bash, Python) for Automation
  • Problem-solving and Troubleshooting Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Postfix Mail Servers on Linux systems.
  • Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform system optimizations to ensure reliable email delivery.
  • Implement and manage email security measures, including anti-spam, anti-virus, and authentication mechanisms. Configure and manage email accounts, aliases, mailing lists, and distribution groups.
  • Set up and maintain email backups and disaster recovery plans.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate email systems with other infrastructure components, such as LDAP directories, DNS, and Firewalls.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and resolve email-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and security vulnerabilities related to email systems.
