As we rapidly expand our offerings, we are seeking ambitious talent to assist in building highly interactive courses. An ideal candidate is familiar the eLearning Development process, has a strong grasp of grammar and language, a keen eye for detail, and a technical appetite to learn new programs. Experience working with video production, post-production or animation is a huge plus. An understanding of XML/HTML is preferred, but not required (however, you will be required to learn it). Someone who enjoys a work environment that involves juggling multiple projects, balancing details to get it right the first time, collaborating and achieving goals with a team, and partnering technology with learning is the right fit for our team. Knowledge of Articulate Storyline is a bonus.
How you make an impact everyday:
  • Development:
    • Developing compelling, quality eLearning modules in XML.
    • Assisting in inputting and updating translations and version control of new eLearning content.
    • Keep accurate and detailed files for assigned course components and development, including HTML pages, timers, content validation, Word documents, etc.
    • Maintain organized and properly labelled digital asset of videos, audio, photo, and other course files.
  • QA:
    • Conduct quality audits, assure company standards are maintained and product integrity is preserved, and be the final set of eyes before a new product rolls out to market.
    • Assure quality standards and regulatory requirements are met when editing any course materials.
    • Identify and document existing courses and new course content for content, style, grammar, consistency, and accuracy.
    • Review courses and content to ensure features and interactions are working per narration, timing of animations are in sync, and buttons or actions are working properly.
    • Review chapter-end quizzes and final exams for accuracy and ensures that they meet regulatory requirements.
    • Review course content generated for compliance with privacy policy and terms of service; markup quality issues; appropriate placement; and other requirements.

    • Assist Instructional Designers and other teams in creation of courses or editing of documents.
    • Collaborating and planning with the eLearning team and other departments to meet project deliverables.
    • Perform other duties as assigned, or as they become apparent.
What you bring to the table:
  • Excellent English grammar, spelling, punctuation, usage, technical writing.
  • The communication skills to work closely with a cohesive team of Instructional Design, Multimedia & eLearning Developers, Marketing and leadership in leveraging common information in the development of content.
  • Previous Web content editing experience and experience working with Web pages.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical details clearly to technical people and non-technical people alike.
  • Self-motivated, an autonomous problem solver, and work well under limited or no supervision.
  • Production of well-formatted and well-presented documents.
  • Bachelor s in English, Technical Writing or related disciplines or equivalent experience.
  • HTML and XML, Illustrator, and database query tools are a plus.
