What You'll Do Within Cisco s Data Center Switching Technology Group (DCSTG), our engineering team researches, develops, tests and delivers best-in-class data center networking software and hardware to thousands of customers. Customers all over the world depend on our software and hardware solutions to provide reliable and high-performance networking products. You will join this premier team to take part in connecting the world!
Who You Will Work With Our Nexus Infrastructure teams provide the architecture, stability, and highly efficient environments to develop the highest quality networking software in the industry.
Who You Are
  • You are excited to chip in to engineering efforts from design to verification, solving complex technical challenges related to validating software quality in the Nexus OS infrastructure.
  • You design/build, enhance/adapt advance automated build, test and release infrastructure.
  • You are a driver for adoption of standard methodologies in code health, testing, and maintainability.
  • You analyze and decompose complex software systems and collaborate with multi-functional teams to influence design for testability.
  • You are experienced in one or more of the following: test automation, test development, build infrastructure, optimizing software, debugging, building tools and testing frameworks.
  • You have hands-on Object-Oriented software development experience with Python.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD workflow.
  • You have a BS in Computer Science or related technical field and at least 2-4 years of experience working on an Agile software engineering team.
Desired Skills:
  • You have knowledge of Software Tools: GIT, Jenkins, XUnit, Linux, Containers technologies, SQL database, netconf, Telemetry.
  • Knowledge of Web APIs & Programming: REST, JSON, XML, Django, JavaScript, Flask etc. and Cisco R&S products and technologies: Routers, Switches, Firewalls etc.
